The Lowveld experiences a subtropical climate with distinct seasonal changes throughout the year. Summers (approximately October to March) are warm to hot, with occasional afternoon thunderstorms that bring lush landscapes and excellent birdlife. Winters (April to September) are generally dry and mild, with cooler mornings and evenings, and clear, sunny days that are ideal for game viewing. Seasonal conditions may vary from year to year, and guests are advised to pack accordingly.
